.US Domain Deal

One domain extension that seems to be getting more popular is the elusive .US extension. I call it ‘elusive’ because there is a bit of mystique around the .US domains. At first it was very difficult to register a .US domain, you had to go through a process of being vetted as an official United States business or organization to be able to register a .US site. Now things are a bit more relaxed, but there’s still some mystery regarding the prices of .US domains. For some reason the prices seem to constantly change, at one point I saw them as high as $19! But today I found this coupon for GoDaddy Hosting which offers .US domains for just $3.99, which is the lowest price I’ve seen by far! It’s a limited time offer that will expire on June 15th, so if you want to register any domains at this price you gotta do it soon. Here’s the coupon:

If you do end up buying one of these domains and want to get some cheap web hosting for your new site, I’ve also found a great coupon for GoDaddy Hosting. Just enter the coupon code 199JUNE at checkout when you buy the economy hosting plan from GoDaddy and you’ll end up paying just $1.99 per month for hosting. So it’s $3.99 for the domain and $1.99 for the hosting, that’s a website for under six bucks! Not bad.
