Twitter Launches New Look and Feel

If you happen to be watching the Tuesday’s episode of NBC’s Today show, you are probably aware now of the latest news about the Twitter revamped look for its profile pages and the new interface for mobile users and also the totally new Twitter for iPad. Twitter CEO Dick Costolo personally went to the Today’s show to announce the latest updates of Twitter.

Twitter is the second leading social networking site trailing behind Facebook and it considered one of the most used tool for internet marketing and also for celebrities and personalities to connect with their followers. Twitter’s new design gave a new look on the profile page which will allow twitter users to interact better with their followers. The new changes makes the profile’s image stay on the top whether the profile is being accessed in the web, smartphones or tablets. The other twitter change is the totally new iPadd app, it was rebuilt from scratch to provide better twitter experience for the iPad users.

“New profiles also help you get to know people better through their pictures.” posted by Twitter in their blog post regrading the new change.

Twitter now allows a header profile aside from the profile picture like Facebook and the new Twitter for iPadd is much faster compared to the earlier app.

“Expand Tweets with a single touch to see beautiful photos, rich videos and web page summaries right in your timeline. Dive into the content with another tap to see the photo, play the video or read links from the web in fullscreen mode.” According to the Twitter dev team.

You can now revamp your twitter profile with the new look and download the new iPad App on the Apple store. I wonder if Twitter used one of the top 5 domain registrars?
